Vegetarian: Quinua & Amaranto, praised by many travellers, on calle 11 carrera 2-95
Italian: Trattoria Nuraghe calle 13 (or now 12 b) carrera 1-26 Tel.283 4846 Cel. 310 756 6089. Open for lunch MON-SAT and sometimes for dinner FRI-SAT.
Mixed: Crepes & Waffles: Good value, has a respectable salad buffet and much more (not just Crepes, Coffee, desserts) carrera 5 calle 15 (or now 12d, basically on Jimenez)
Burgers, good meat and more: Toro Burger on Jimenez with carrera 4-30 – good value, Baby Beef is recommended. Expensive but likely the best burgers in town: “El Corral” calle 11 carrera 2 (not until late) or next to the Toro burger, second floor (open until 8 or 9pm, it seems).
Pizza: Various on carrera 4 between calle 12 and Jimenez. The best is likely “La Mona Pizza” on carrera 4 with calle 12-25 - Parks (full listing available at reception)
1) Parque Simón Bolívar (20 minutes on wheels from Martinik Bogota Hostel):
Ubicación: Rodeado por la avenida, carrera 48. Avenida, carrera 68. Avenidad, calle 63 y avenida, calle 53. Tiene una superficie de 113 hectáreas, posee una concha acustica y una plaza para eventos entre otras atracciones.
